Polish-Canadian expedition to Cho Oyu in 1985, led by Andrzej Zawada. On February 12, 1985, Maciej Berbeka and Maciej Pawlikowski made the first winter ascent of Cho Oyu (8,188 m above sea level) via a new route by the south-eastern pillar. On February 15, Jerzy Kukuczka and Andrzej Zygmunt Heinrich also reached the summit.
