Expedition to Annapurna 1988. The expedition was organized by the Mountaineering Club from Katowice under the direction of Jerzy Kukuczka. On October 13 1988, Artur Hajzer and Jerzy Kukuczka climbed the summit of Eastern Annapurna (8010 m above sea level) with a new alpine-style road.
