    Silesian expedition to Mount McKinley (otherwise known as Denali, 6194 m above sea level) 1974. Organized by the Mountaineering Club from Gliwice under the direction of Henryk Furmanik. On June 26, 1974, Jerzy Kukuczka, Henryk Furmanik, Jerzy Kalla, Adam Bilczewski and Adam Zyzak reached the summit of Mount McKinley (aka Denali) via the western rib of the southern face. On the same day, Jan Bagsik, Jerzy Sznytzer and Krzysztof Tomaszewski reached the summit via the Windy Corner pass and the upper part of the rib of the south wall.
