Polish expedition to Lhotse 1979. Organized by the Mountaineering Club from Gliwice under the direction of Adam Bilczewski. On October 4, 1979, Jerzy Kukuczka, Andrzej Czok, Janusz Skorek and Zygmunt Andrzej Heinrich climbed the Lhotse peak (8516 m above sea level) by the normal route.
