    Polish-Canadian expedition to Cho Oyu in 1985, led by Andrzej Zawada. On February 12, 1985, Maciej Berbeka and Maciej Pawlikowski made the first winter ascent of Cho Oyu (8,188 m) via a new route, by the south-eastern pillar. On February 15, Jerzy Kukuczka and Andrzej Zygmunt Heinrich also reached the summit.
