Polish expedition to Kangchenjunga 1985/1986. Organized by the Mountaineering Club from Gliwice under the direction of Andrzej Machnik. On January 11 1986 Jerzy Kukuczka and Krzysztof Wielicki made the first winter ascent to the top of Kangchenjunga (8598 m above sea level).
