Artur Hajzer on the top of Shisha Pangma (8013 m above sea level) - September 18, 1987.

Expedition to Shisha Pangma 1987 - the 14th eight-thousander of Jerzy Kukuczka. Organized by the Mountaineering Club from Katowice under the direction of Jerzy Kukuczka. On September 18 1987 Artur Hajzer and Jerzy Kukuczka reached the peak of Shisha Pangma (8013 m above sea level) by a new road, along the western ridge in alpine style. On the same day, while ascending the main peak Kukuczka together with Hajzer also made the first ascent to the top of Shisha Pangma West (approx. 7950 m above sea level) with a new route alpine style.
